Keep movin'

Wow, I must say I have had one crazy week. I got into a bit of a fender bender on Monday so my car is in the shop for who knows how long, so I will be car hopping my family's cars for the next few weeks. Not so fun! I also received two tickets from the charming police officer when I got into the accident. I thank God that the people in the other car and I did not get hurt though. I am very fortunate. Tuesday, I found out some disappointing news, that I failed one of my classes. I was very disappointed in myself, I never ever failed a class before and it wasn't like I didn't try or didn't go to class. I do realize that I spend too much time working and trying to keep up photo work and not enough time with my head in the books. This has got to change right away. Even though it hasn't been the best week, I still find myself truckin' along, working like crazy with a lot of hope in my heart!

I saw this quote today someone posted on facebook,

"Don't allow a small set back stop you from going after you dreams."

I thought it fit perfectly with how I have been feeling about my class and realized there is nothing I can do about what happened in the past, no going back, its gone. So now I focus strictly on my future and what CAN HAPPEN, and ya sometimes life doesn't go exactly how you want it to, but keep trying, learn from your mistakes and never stop going after your dreams.

Also today, was the first day of my public speaking class. I actually really enjoyed school tonight. I think the professor is  very interesting, he definitely keeps my attention, which is probably good because he is a public speaking professor! I thought the class was very interesting and we did something I have never done before in school, we prayed. The professor is a former preacher and since Rochester College is a Christian college he said a prayer thanking God for all of us students and for all that we have. I thought it was wonderful. I am really starting to like this Christian College after all.

On an even lighter note, last weekend I did a maternity shoot for a beautiful couple expecting a baby this year. They wanted something fun and different for the fall season, so we found some country for them.

Check out Sandro, Margie and their little growing pumpkin!

Margie thinks she will have a girl and Sandro thinks boy! I can't wait to find out what this baby will be! Whatever their baby happens to be he/she will be blessed to have such loving parents!

Love,
ML

Twins!

I recently did a session with my first set of Twins, which was pretty exciting for me because they were identical! I am always fascinated when I meet twins...but these particular twins I have known for a couple of years because I am friends with their older sister.
They are both so adorable and are really close to each other. At first it is always hard for me to tell them apart but after awhile I get the hang of it....

Check out Christina and Lianna...
