"Don't take life too seriously; you'l' never get out alive"--Elbert Hubbard

Hello...
I decided to create a new blog because I tried to personalize the old one and I ended up ruining it...so here is where I will try to actually write and blog about tidbits of me, recent shoots and other things I feel that need to be said...or written? typed? you get the picture! ^_^

I had a busy weekend... Friday and Saturday I spent my days in Bloomfield Hills at Cranbrook! I have never shot there before this weekend and let me tell you...I feel in love! It is absolutely beautiful! For those of you who don't know Cranbrook is I believe..an Elementry, Middle, and High School...all seperate buildings and campuses...but all down the street from one another. It is also an Arts Insitute and a Museum.
I hung around the Highschool and Art school campuses...I think the reason I fell in love with this location is because everything is super old...I felt like I was somewhere in Europe or something when I was walking around over there. Just breathtaking buildings with pretty vines growing up the sides. Very nice architecture, timeless and if you do not know already, I LOVE anything that is vintage!

Anyway, I had plans to shoot there Saturday with a model, and she was the genius to suggest this place...thank you Sarah! Since I had never been there before and I am not a wise one when it comes to directions, I decided I would take the little sis out there on friday to shoot some of her Senior pictures and get a feel for the place! Well Friday ended up being a success...except for when we ended up getting lost on the way home+my car decided to stall on i75 for a couple minutes....NOT FUN! But once Me, Vanessa and Julia got home...it was fun to laugh at it all after!

Once Saturday rolled around I thought I had all my stuff together for a successful worry free shoot....I went to Cranbrook and had my friend Joe meet up as well...Joe and I decided to team up when it comes to shooting weddings....and we help eachother out on shoots from time to time....Anyways..I met the model Sarah, did her make up and I also brought a ton of clothes for wardrobe and what not...well SMART,INTELLEGENT ME accidently decides to lock my keys in the car!!! With all the wardrobe and shoes Sarah was supposed to wear for the shoot. Yeah! Real smart! Long story short we still shot with everything that was outside of my car and then eventually my ANGEL boyfriend, Domenic came to the rescue with his friend and they broke into my car for me. To top it off on the way home I got lost once again...but found my way home eventually. You think I would have learned the first time!

I guess what I am trying to say from all of this is...well first..I think it is just in my character to have things like this happen to me...and second...no matter how bad your day is going and things are not going your way...don't stress out over it because it will only make things worse..it will not help you in anyway....and always try to look out of the good that comes out of the situation...and remember you can always laugh about it later on! like me!

And like I said I looked at the good that came out of Saturday and here it is. . .

Thanks to Sarah for the modeling...you did a great job and I really appreciate your patience and positive attitude...you where a pleasure to work with and I hope to do so in the near future...Thanks for making my first MM experience work out well!

As for my sisters pictures...those will be up another day.

Ciao!
